Dr. Anas Abdullah possesses a distinguished clinical and academic career spanning leading surgical institutions in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Jordan. His extensive international background positions him as a leading authority in plastic aesthetic, reconstructive, and burn surgery.
Dr. Abdullah earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2006. He subsequently pursued advanced surgical training in the UK, earning the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MRCSI). His clinical credentials are further highlighted by the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the Jordanian Board in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (JBPRS).
His comprehensive surgical training encompasses prestigious global healthcare centers. In the United Kingdom, Dr. Abdullah gained deep expertise in plastic surgery across renowned centers, including Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London, Leicester University Hospitals, and University Hospital of North Durham.
To refine his subspecialty expertise, Dr. Abdullah completed advanced fellowship training in the United States. He completed a Research Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, followed by a Clinical Fellowship in Burn and Reconstructive Surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then pursued a Clinical Fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai (Icahn School of Medicine). This elite training forms the foundation of his dual mastery in both sophisticated cosmetic procedures and complex reconstructive solutions.
Dr. Abdullah’s appointment background reflects significant leadership and clinical responsibility. In the UK, he served as a Consultant Plastic and Burn Surgeon across specialized university hospital centers in Manchester and Nottingham. In Saudi Arabia, he held the position of Consultant Plastic Surgeon at National Guard Health Affairs in Madinah, where he also served as Acting Head of the Plastic Surgery Division. Bringing this vast global experience back to Jordan, he now provides world-class surgical care through his clinical and private practice in Amman.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Abdullah is deeply committed to medical education and academic research. He was selected as an International Visiting Professor by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Plastic Surgery Foundation (PSF) for 2025–2026. He also actively contributes to training the next generation of physicians through clinical teaching at Hashemite University. His scientific research focuses on post-breast reconstruction quality of life, patient education and transparency, and advanced techniques in complex wound and burn management.
