What can rhinoplasty change?
Rhinoplasty reshapes the nasal bones and cartilage. The bridge, tip or nostril proportions may be addressed, depending on your anatomy. Breathing difficulty needs its own assessment: a cosmetic change alone does not necessarily correct obstruction. Explain any injuries, previous operations or blocked breathing during your consultation.
Open or closed: which approach?
These describe access routes, not levels of quality. Ask which approach supports the proposed changes, whether cartilage grafts may be needed and where scars will be. A useful consultation explains what is feasible in your own tissues and what would place support or function at risk.
Allow the result time to develop
Early swelling can hide definition and create temporary unevenness. A return to desk work is not the same as complete healing; ask separately about glasses, exercise and travel. Compare follow-up photographs at agreed intervals instead of judging the outcome day by day. Persistent or worsening symptoms need direct contact with the treating team.
Plan your consultation in Amman
Bring a short list of the changes that matter to you and questions about limitations, revision surgery and total fees. If you live in Saudi Arabia or elsewhere, request an initial discussion before booking travel. An examination is still needed before the final surgical plan.
Common questions
Can a particular nose shape be guaranteed?
No. Skin, cartilage, previous surgery and healing affect what can be achieved. Reference photographs can start a conversation, but do not predict your result.
